One glance at this Vanderburgh Artisan Series humidor and you know it's unique. The glass top has been hand-made by fused glass artist Daniel Castillo. Daniel hand-cuts different shapes and profiles of glass, adds pigments and special powders then fuses the glass together to form wonderful abstract artwork.
We integrated this artwork into solid Canadian Tiger Maple. Instead of leaving the Tiger Maple natural, our craftsman Ryan Shervill dyed the wood with a brilliant jade dye.
The glass was left transparent through the lid of the humidor to add more character.
We also added an additional piece of dyed Tiger Maple under the lid to house the hygrometer, humidifier and pewter medallion.
Of course as with all Vanderburgh Humidors, the bottom featured solid polished granite. Granite looks amazing and acts as an excellent insulator and temperature stabilizer for your humidor.

We raised this artwork onto a lid, suspended by solid brass pegs. The Tiger Maple was left natural with a subtle oil finish bringing out the natural character and figure of the wood.
The interior was completely lined with Spanish Cedar as well as a raised panel that housed the hygrometer, humidifier and pewter medallion.
