The Shackleton Custom Handcrafted Humidor is an exquisitely detailed, handcrafted humidor. Like Ernest Shackleton himself, this humidor has been crafted with strong, and determined character. It has been designed to be totally unique, and stately, unlike many other humidor models.
HUMIDOR DESIGN DETAILS - Well built, and stately.
The Shackleton Handcrafted Humidor is crafted with gorgeous Zebrano main body at 3/4” thick, with a Spanish Cedar lining at 1/4” thick. The corner masts are made from solid Wenge giving a rich complimentary wood tone to the body. The lid is constructed of solid Wenge, cut chamfered to accentuate the unique wood grain that Zebrano offers.
HUMIDOR SIZE - Medium and Tall.
The Shacketon handcrafted humidor is medium sized at 14" x 11" x 7" High, and can accomodate around 100 - 125 cigars depending upon your size preference.
Weighing in at over 13 pounds, this custom humidor is hand crafted with solid 3/4 Zebrano body, and Wenge top for rich, robust warm tones that will blend in to any room, studio or den. It is a humidor that is unlike your typical 'cheap humidor' style.
Humidification is installed, and supplied by a handful of reliable options, whether electronic as with the CigarSpa, or active as with the RH Bead system or the engineered RH crystal method. The and the Spanish Cedar base is on this handcrafted humidor is cut with humidity channels to allow moist air to circulate below the cigars. Of course, only premium hardware adorns The Shackleton Humidor, and magnetics are installed in the lid and body to secure a tight seal. The Shackleton is usually completed with a hand-polished fine furnityre finish, that brings out all the character in the grain.
HUMIDOR JOINT CONSTRUCTION: Mortice fit, assembled and glued by hand.
Upon opening the humidor, you can see the care and precision of the joinery used in the humidor construction. This style joinery on this handcrafted humidor showcases the handcrafted appearance, and durable construction.
HUMIDOR FINISH: Hand-polished, not spray lacquer.
This handcrafted humidor is hand-sanded and hand-polished with over 12 coats of finish and polish for a fine-furniture look, not a cheap spray-laquered mass-produced appearance like in most cheap humidors.

While famous for the Trans-Arctic Expedition, Shackleton and his famed wooden vessel ‘The Endurance’ embarked on both a successful and disastrous mission of exploring Antarctica.
